InnoTech CMS - content management system

InnoTech CMS is the content management system we have been building since 2016. The websites and web shops we make run on it, and so does this site. Today's version is built on Laravel and Filament, and the admin works on desktop, tablet and phone.

Pages made of blocks

A page is put together from ready-made sections: an opening, text, picture and text, services, a gallery, video, FAQ, a price list, figures, a timeline, locations with a map, a form and a poll. A section used on several pages (a content block) is edited once and changes everywhere.

Articles, categories and media

• categories in a tree, custom fields and filters on the list;
• scheduled publishing and unpublishing, drafts with a preview before publishing, tags, related articles and RSS;
• a media library with alt text: pictures are reduced on upload, and the site serves them as WebP in the size needed.

SEO without extra plugins

Meta title and description with a Google preview, canonical URLs, hreflang for every language, a sitemap, structured data (organisation, article, FAQ, breadcrumbs), a 301 redirect when a URL changes, and a list of missing URLs visitors ask for. The site can be opened to AI search engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) and closed to SEO bots that only load the server.

Several languages

Every text has a version per language, with its own URL in that language, including right-to-left languages (Arabic).

Forms, user accounts and a web shop

Contact and other forms with spam protection: submissions are kept in the admin and sent by e-mail. When needed there are also visitor accounts, PayPal payments and our web shop package: products, cart, orders and customers.

An AI assistant in the CMS

Content can also be edited through Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant: you write what you need, and it drafts an article from a PDF or a link, tidies SEO titles and descriptions or fixes the text on a page. It works as a user with your rights, every change stays in the history, and you always confirm publishing.

Security and control

• roles: superadmin, admin, editor and author (an author sees only their own articles);
• two-factor sign-in (2FA) with an app or a code by e-mail;
• revision history with restoring an older version, and a trash bin;
• a backup of the whole site (database and files) in one file;
• site health: broken links, pictures without alt text, mail and server jobs.
